Galaxy Hands 1

This hand-crafted necklace is all about space exploration. What outer or inner dimensions do you want to explore? Two hands, made of copper with patina, are reaching towards an enameled exoplanet, an enamel disk depicting distant stars and a silver galaxy. These pieces are set on a base of copper with patina. A 16 inch oxidized sterling silver wheat chain is included.

The copper setting of this necklace is colored using a special patina process and then the color is sealed with lacquer and wax. While the coating is quite durable, it can be abraded or scratched. This necklace should not be left in very hot temperatures or submerged in hot water or lacquer thinner. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
